This sweet little house is the Haunted House Kit by Greenleaf. The way I acquired this little house was a lot of fun. During the holiday season 2005, Greenleaf had several contests on their community forum and I was one of the winners! I didn't stop happy-dancing for days after that!

This little house just didn't want to be haunted at all. It's such a sweet design that it wanted to be a cheerful cottage.......the home of Kathleen, the retired librarian. I did just a bit of bashing on this house. The exterior is done with magic masonry slate and the chimney and fireplace are my own stonework. I also bashed the porch and created my own. This is the first house that I wired for electricity as well.  A lot of the furnishings and fun things in the house have come from my friends on the Greenleaf Forum, so that makes this little house extra special.

The porch was bashed using staircase railings and spindles. It gave a more delicate look to the front than the original porch

I used tape wire for my first adventure with electricity and was so happy when they all lit up.
