The front porch is bashed to create a balcony. I added working french doors to the second floor and then leveled the porch roof to make the balcony floor. The railing is echoed in the widows walk railing on the roof.

One of the great features about the Lily is it's unique footprint. It opens on the side as well as on the back. Thru the side opening, you can see the living room on the first floor and the bedroom on the second floor.

I bashed the door on the kitchen to put in a screen door as well as continuing the balcony to match the wrap around porch.

This is the view of the living room thru the side opening. You can see thru the arched doorway into the foyer.

I love looking at this angle of the house thru the side opening. You can see into the kitchen doorway and out the screen door.

This is the view of the bedroom from the side opening. The back wall of the bedroom is the hallway.

This is the view of the living room from the back opening. The bay windows are on the close left and the side opening is just beyond them.

This view is of the sitting room on the second floor. It's probably my favorite room in the house. The bookcase on the back of the stairs is a unique feature and adds a lot of character. You can see the french doors from here that open onto the balcony. The stairs going down enter the foyer and the stairs going up lead to the attic.

The stairs leading from the sitting room come up here. I really like the open areas between the roof supports. It's an interesting feature and also adds character to the house.

This view is from the back side of the house. The bathroom is in front of the bedroom and the hallway on the side goes thru to the bedroom.

My friend has always loved gardens of wildflowers and it seemed like her Lily needed one. This removable section sits under the side opening.
