The Lily
The Corona Lily took the longest of any house I've built so far, but it's a large house and I did a lot of bashing on it. I added French doors and a screen door in the back, and bashed the front porch to put a wrap around balcony on the second floor. The Lily was custom built for my best friend and took two months to complete. I was invited to join the Greenleaf Community Building Team while I was working on the Lily, therefore, it's progress is blogged in step by step instructions on the Greenleaf Community site. You can access the blog for my Lily and those of the rest to the building team by clicking on the link for "blogs" on my home page. It's fascinating to watch one house come to life in so many different ways as each member of the building team has their own style. The blogs are also amazingly helpful for anyone building a house since they do have step by step instructions and pictures.
The pictures of the Lily show it entirely unfurnished. My friend Kathy will add the furnishing and finish the decor when it's made it's way to her home.

The French Quarter Lily
The front porch is bashed to create a balcony. I added working french doors to the second floor and then leveled the porch roof to make the balcony floor. The railing is echoed in the widows walk railing on the roof.
