Eliza's Bed

I dressed this Bespaq bed to live in my Beacon Hill several years ago.  I had originally done a quick dressing of the bed in simple ivory silk and lace since it was just for my own house, then later I realized that of all the beds I'd done, I'd spent little time on the beds that graced my own mini homes.  So this Bespaq "Jeanne" got a redo with some soft ivory crinkle silk and silk ribbon embroidered pillows.  The final result came out so well that it ended up in the guest bedroom of my Pierce with a full bedroom suite of Bespaq furniture to go along with it.

I had to include a close up of the pillows.  I used nymo beading thread to make the vines and the flowers are hand dyed silk ribbon.  The small pillow in the center is only one inch square.
