The Madame du Barry
This is a custom bed done for a very talented miniaturist for her Willowcrest dollhouse. The first picture is the bed with a blue Du Barry wallpaper sample sent for me to match.
I thought the bed was complete and then realized that it needed silk ribbon rosettes on the drapery tie backs so I made some! The flowers on the pillows are done with the same type of silk ribbon embroidery that I used for the rosettes. Even the teeny pink tassels on the tie backs are hand dyed.
