Pure Elegance Yule Parlor Set

Sometimes a design comes together so well that it just takes my breath away.  That's what happened when I was dressing this parlor set.  It started when I found the fabric and fell in love with its beautiful colors and the unique pattern.  As soon as I had upholstered the first piece I knew that magic was going to happen!  The colors in the fabric brought out the best in this mahogany parlor set, pulling up the slightly cherry undertone.  It's a match made in heaven.  When I added the gold piping, it all pulled together.  I considered adding throw pillows and a silk shawl but I think that any addition would have detracted from the sheer beauty and elegance of the wood, the fabric and the slight sparkle of gold.  Pure elegance!
