Samurai's Summer House Exterior
To tell the truth, the design for this house is very loosely based on the Japanese Edo period. I haven't held strictly to realism because there were so many beautiful oriental things I wanted to include. Therefore, the overall house is simply what it is........my little oriental get-away.
I took the house off it's landscaped base to be able to get clean pictures of the house itself.
In the entry way, you can see the Buddha shrine and a tiny pair of geta by the door. The bamboo door leads into the main living area.
