Interior of the Samurai's Summer House

This is the tokonoma (formal guest room). 

This is the main living area.  I made the shoji (rice paper doors) that really do open and close.

I still need to make a stand for the sword.

Another liberty I took with the design was to make a sleeping area upstairs.  The kimono and stand, the tatami mats and wooden block pillows, and the kimono chests are all my original designs.
